MY BEST MEMORY
On the past 15 years I have been here in Valle Verde School has been the best time of my life, and most of all this last year, we the seniors. They say that this last year at school is the best year of all because not also you are the biggest at school. We have the mental thoughts that we rock school and that school is the best and more because we are the biggest of the entire school. But they say that we have to take advantage of all moments when we are at school because at the university its a total different thing comparing to school, its another type of life with more responsabilities.
I have a lot of good memories during all my life during school and one of the best has been on secondary, one of my best years its 10th grade but also 11 and obviously 12 grade has been one of the best too.
I have a lot of friends, but there is only one friend whose relationship is very special and true to me. Her name is Trang, and I will always remember her as the best friend of my entire life. Three years ago, Trang and I met in English class when we were both seniors in high school. My first impression of Trang was that she always had a happy smiling face, and her long, black, straight hair covered her shoulder. Everyday, as I approached my seat, I passed by her. “Hi,” Trang’s friendly voice said.
I do not think my best memory of my life has approached me yet. However, I feel my high school years have been the most memorable. I strongly believe that high school is the open door, into the rest of my life.
Now that I’ve done all those things and many more, I am about to embark on a new adventure that will take me too many more new experiences. From sports to girls to all the partying, I just wanted to know what everything was like. I cannot believe that it has come this fast.
From being an inexperienced sophomore to a somewhat mature senior, things have really changed for me. Some say that “high school was the best time of my life”, just like others say that high school was the worst time in their lives. Realistically, I do not know what the world out there holds for me. All I can do is enter it with a guarded optimism and hope for the best. I will leave high school as a world-weary senior, knowing that there are many dangers to encounter in the real world. I was just dying to experience all the new and exciting things that awaited me. I’ve had plenty of good times, as well as just as many bad times, in high school. And the most important thing is that, not just that I learned through the books, but I learned about life and the road ahead of me. I started high school as a brash and cocky athlete, dying to conquer the world, which I did not know much about. The only thing I can say is that I learned. To be honest, I am not sure which category I fall into.
Having just finished high school, some of my most memorable experiences are also some of my most recent ones. I had many opportunities to get involved in academics, as well as athletics. I chose to participate in basketball, football, and track. As a team member, I learned some valuable lessons to help me progress throughout life. One experience I will never forget was a football game that helped me deal with disappointment.
